Madelon will explore with us the life of Paul and his letters. For three decades, Paul the Apostle ignited the fire that helped spread Christianity throughout the Roman world. His letters constitute a large part of the New Testament, providing a window into early Christianity like no other.  Participants will learn more of the letters’ themes, audiences, and the challenges Paul addressed, as well as unpack the historical, political and religious backdrop against which they were written.  The beginning of the talk will cover Paul’s life and travels as he became the servant of Jesus Christ and then address his seven letters individually.

Saturday Boxed Lunch:  The Saturday talk on "Paul and His Letters" will include a morning session (9am-Noon) and an afternoon session (1pm-3:30pm).  There will be a break between Noon and 1pm for lunch.  Box lunches will be purchased from Panera Bread and will include a sandwich, an apple and a cookie. Boxed lunches are $10.
